About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and social media-savvy Social Media Manager/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and marketing for a growing, mission-driven company.
You’ll be responsible for helping us manage and grow our social media presence, create posts that grab attention, and design eye-catching visuals that reflect our brand voice.
What You’ll Do

- Create engaging, scroll-stopping content — from graphics to captions — that align with our brand and messaging.
- Design social media graphics and templates using tools like Canva.
- Help maintain a content calendar, scheduling posts, and tracking performance
- Research social media trends, hashtags, and cultural moments relevant to our audiences.
- Collaborate with leadership on ideas to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Assist with special projects, such as live event coverage, blog posts, or newsletter content.
- Assist with booking travel, client gifting and coordinating meetings/conference room space.
What We’re Looking For
- Junior or senior in college (Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field) OR early career professional looking to grow skills
- Experience creating content for social media (through coursework, internships, personal projects, or freelance work)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
- A natural eye for compelling visuals and creative storytelling
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail and tone
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and mission-driven work
- Role requires you to be in the office (in Manhattan) one day a week.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a mission-driven, Latina-owned, female-led agency making an impact in media and advertising
- Gain hands-on experience and mentorship from industry professionals with 20+ years of experience
- Work on campaigns for a variety of industries — from Broadway to healthcare — that champion representation and cultural relevance
- Hybrid work schedule
- Opportunity to make your voice and creativity part of our brand’s growth
This is a paid hourly internship for 20-25 hours a week with growth opportunities.
